On May 20th, Accelerate Japan joined a site visit of two new logistics centers in Fukuoka prefecture, Japan.
One center is operated by Yoshio Ice Manufacturing Refrigeration (opened in February) and another one is at a Kawai Ice & Cold Storage facility (opened in May).

Both centers installed CO2 transcritical systems manufactured by Nihon Netsugen System, using Guentner’s CO2 unit coolers and GEA’s CO2 compressors.

Participants (mainly from warehouse companies) could see the actual technologies and the fact that CO2 property works in warmer area like Fukuoka which is a southern part of Japan. #GoNatRefs – by sheccoTV
